adik-adik bukit tadom yang disayangi

Went to SK(A) Bukit Tadom for CAS purpose today. You might not know what CAS is, so to put it in simple word its sort of a must-do series of activities one must participate in IB. Its funny how we thought SK(A) stands for sekolah agama. But it isnt. It turned out the 'A' stands for 'asli', the school for aboriginal community in kampung labohan dagang.

Honestly it struck me how theres a huge gap in our lives. Those two hours werent much, but we learnt. We see the differences in our world, the thing that matters and the thing that dont. In fact there's only nine muslim students out of 99 students there, and the rest still practising animism. Where I thought no one believe in animism nowadays. But I was wrong.

Interestingly they have a raya celebration too, only its way different from us. They would dance agogo the whole day and nothing can beat the festivity. Me dancing would be a no-no haha, but I'm looking forward to experience the festival someday!

The school have only six classes, one for each standard. Its a small school with a much spirit. I could see how happy the principal was when he told us the story of one of their best students. How proud of him to see this child competing boldly in the education world, a world they don't really believe in. But at least theres someone who stands for their name. It seems unfair how easily we left them behind, and we think its okay. It sounds so wrong to hear 'education, for them, isnt the main agenda'. I felt like all this while I'm being selfish for living in a developing country where I'm so proud of, whereas I dont even know the constituent. Someone need to tell me how is it justify is this mentality. They might be as rich, but I wish one day they, as a whole, would believe in education as much as we do. I pray for a brighter future to these kids. Getting to know them better. I tell you more about them next time.

May one day this line separating us would cease so thin, or gone.

Photos Around TeenACE

Assalamualaikum.

Most of my peers have updated about their college life here and there. Meanwhile me here, all I wanted to do as soon as I'm back home (which is now) is to upload the photos of teenACE! Walaupun sebulan telah berlalu tapi tak sempat wo. Nampak tak bajet bizi sampai tak sempat nak upload haha. Bagaimanapun tak lengkap hidup tanpa gambar wuhuu. Apatah lagi bila aku lansung tak bawak kamera masa tu (maklumlah orang bizi gila time tu ahaks).

So nah here comes the photos!

Sebenarnya bersalah juga tidak post pasal raya. Selamat hari raya awak.

Weh dah hari raya kelima

"Eh hari raya ada ke sampai kelima? Bukan hari raya sehari je ke?"

(Tiba-tiba ada jawapan khayalan)

"Tak kira. Kita nak sambut sebulan jugak."

"Banyak rumah kita tak pegi lagi ni. Rumah si dolah kau tu.. Dengan ahmad lagi.... Penting tu, bila lagi nak dapat layanan khas diorang ni..." peringat joyah lagi kepada konco-konconya.

"Waduh bukan main gembira tanpa segan silu kome ye dapat pegi rumah si dia. Jaga la sikit mata kakimu itu...."

Joyah buat dek.

"Dengan sedara kita pun kamu buat dek je joyah. Betegurnya pun idok, entah-entah ucap selamatnya pun idok juge!" Limah geleng kepala melihat adiknya and the gang. Kecewa dengan situasi sebegitu yang sering berlaku mayapada ini.

Akibat limah terlalu kecewa cerita tidak dapat diteruskan.

Tapi kalo raya sebulan, camtu boleh lagi la aku ucap ni ehehe. Selamat hari raya! Minta maaf zahir batin ye semua. Terima kasih sapa-sapa yang sudi lagi baca entri ala-kadar penghias syawal ni hoho. Semoga juga Allah merahmati kite semua.

Bam kak warda dah tunang

Eh blog ni bernyawa lagi rupanya. Ingatkan dah mati. Wakaka.

teenACE gila quick update

It happened that I was a part of their commitee.

I feel really blessed being in that clique. The situations were wayyy different from the biah I felt in my former school, even though they are both are religious.

I learnt so many new things from them (since I was the youngest and the noob), especially from protocol team and technical teams. My teams were assigned to deal with all the VIPs. Yup fatih seferagic, amin idris, anwar hadi and all that. The coolest task ever. There were free flows of foods and friends. And I met a lot of hamidians. I cant even name a few because theres too many of them lol. The technical team tho, was really proficient (They were from utp). Just watching brother fahmi and kak arina playing their role has give me so many outputs. Words cannot express how I feel. Weirdly I became the emcee that night along with brother adzeem from mmu. And once again, I really thank these people for the experience and the valuable lessons I hardly get anywhere. The brothers were the best men I've met (probably) and the sisters were the awesomest muslimah I've ever known. I never know its this good feeling to be in a muslim-knitted society. I never experience it before. I'd always wanted to know how does it feel to be really friends with people who constantly remind you of Allah. And here it is, Allah granted my prayer tsk tsk. Though sometimes I felt akward, (because probably I'm lacking islamic vocabulary to use, or to even call ana wa enta or enti, and I felt inferior like Im a bad girl they all wear tudung labuh and all) but the highlight is, Alhamdulillah.

If you want me to be honest, I'm rather really glad to meet these people than the VIPs. Really felt like a family. (Lots assumed we came from a certain university since we seemed that close) Ah. I gonna miss teenACE.

Wish I could talk about it more, but I'm heading away to kmb.

You know i dont have a decent phone.
So yeah.
Till then.

Salam ramadhan.
